We’re software engineers who’ve interviewed and shipped products everywhere from scrappy startups to big tech. Somewhere along the way, it became obvious: most algorithm-style interview prep doesn’t look like the real work.
Real engineering is messy and practical — understanding a code base, making tradeoffs, debugging, working across multiple files, and building for actual business needs. That’s why we created real-swe: to help you practice the skills that show up in enterprise applications and real product teams, not just on a whiteboard.
